The ХХIV International Industrial Trade Fair “MVC: Cereals – Mixed Feed – Veterinary - 2019” took place at the Exhibition of National Economy Achievements (VDNH) in Moscow

The ХХIV International Industrial Trade Fair “MVC: Cereals – Mixed Feed – Veterinary - 2019” took place at the Exhibition of National Economy Achievements (VDNH)  in Moscow, Russia. The Exhibition has long been recognized as one of the most distinguished, representative and professional. The Exhibition was visited by agricultural specialists from all over the world who met at the events of business program to discuss the challenges of the industry. This year the Exhibition beat the records of the previous years by its space and the number of the visitors.

Opening ceremony of the Exhibition “MVC: Cereals – Mixed Feed – Veterinary - 2019” was held on the 29th of January. President of Marketing Center “Expokhleb” Yury Katsnelson, President of International Federation of mixed feed industry Doctor Daniel Berkovichi, President of non-governmental organization Union of Feed Manufacturers Valery Afanasiev, Deputy Chairman of the Commission on exhibition activity of Russian Union of Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs Vladimir Bannikov, President of Russian Grain Union Arkady Zlochevsky, Vice-president of Russian Union of flour mills and cereal enterprises Igor Sveridenko and others took part in the ceremony.

The Exhibition opened at 1 p.m. and the organizers knew  by this moment that the number of visitors was over 10 000 people.

One could hear from the stage the warmest words about the Exhibition. Many of those who were present made efforts to let it happen. 

Honoured guests of the Exhibition solemnly cut the red ribbon and invited the visitors and journalists to the exhibition halls.

440 companies from 28 countries participated  in the Exhibition, they  presented  achievements in  plant-growing, agro chemistry, cattle-breeding and aqua culture. The companies from Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Korea, the Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, USA, Japan and 41 regions of Russia presented their exhibits  on the space of  over 24 000 square meters.

One could see the newest machinery at the stands, the companies shared their experience of introduction of innovative technologies, presented new products and services. The visitors could get acquainted with latest developments  in cereal growing and processing, production of mixed feed for farm animals - cattle, poultry and fish, with innovative veterinary equipment and preparations, with specialized services.

The specialists who came to the Exhibition could participate in business program which included more than 20 events. Among them there were International Feed Congress, Important  events of the Exhibition were-  press-conference of Doctor Daniel Berkovichi, President of Feed Industry Federation (IFIF) and guest session   of the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Management of Natural Resources, chaired by a member of the Committee Victor Novozhilov. 

Press-conference took place on the second day of the Exhibition, January the 30th. Journalists asked questions about  production of mixed feed, new technologies in the industry, development of production of organic feed, building of feed mills for the  production of  organic feeds.

On the last day of the Exhibition, January 31st, the exhibitors  were awarded diplomas, cups and medals. Company “Koudijs MKorma“ which celebrated its 25th anniversary was awarded for its devotion to the Exhibition ”MVC: Cereals – Mixed Feed – Veterinary”.

Diplomas for best stands were awarded to 15 companies. The most creative stand was the one of the company OOO Simbio. 8 enterprises were awarded cups and diplomas for their demonstration of equipment.

Exhibition ”MVC: Cereals – Mixed Feed – Veterinary” grows  every year, in space occupied, in number  of participating countries and exhibitors. The number of partners which provide special and information support also grows. Traditional official partner has always been Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This year General partner was  OOO “Koudijs MKorma“. The company is the leader in the area of premixes and one of the leading suppliers of prestarter rations and concentrated feeds for  animals and poultry in the Russian market.

Information support of  the Exhibition is provided by 12 foreign and 88 Russian editions.

The preparation for the next anniversary 25th exhibition “MVC: Cereals – Mixed Feed – Veterinary - 2020” has already started, the event will take place on 28th – 30th of January 2020.
